September2017 edited March 2023. Hello there, i have an old acer aspire 5536, and when i try to boot it, the led lights come on and it says that it is charging, but the screen stays blank. The fan spins for about 5 seconds and then just stops. If i click caps lock, then the caps lock indicator light at the top of the laptop doesnt respond.

HelloAcer Community. I've been experiencing a few issues recently with my Acer Aspire V5 so I did a return to factory settings (Full wipe). I've come home today and the screen keeps on going black even though the computer isn't asleep. I move the mouse, and I see the desktop again, but then after less than a second, it goes black again.
