Keeping the heater off might help, but that's not ideal I know. The left hand button is for the heated windscreen.

Thought some of you members may benefit from my experience with 2008 Focus 1.6 tdci. It started a stuttering/hesitation which came and went - no fault codes for warning lights. Am un Focus 1,6 tdci, 90 cp, fara filtru de particuledupa ce am alimentat de la MOL vreo 30 l de motorina..am mers aproximativ 20 km a aparut in bord un bec rosu (am atasat poza)in cartea de la masina scrie MOTOR SYSTEM FEHLER. Am oprit motorul, am stat 5 minunte, am pornit si nu a mai aparut becul rosu. Masina merge ok, trage ca de obicei Hi. Engine system fault appears on dash and car in safe mode but no engine management light except on turning on the ignition the fault appears before starting and the little red light that should go off on starting remains on 9 times out of 10 if I turn on and start.
