Hi, Since a view days I also own the Mavic Mini. While in the dji GO 4 app it is fairly easy to unlock restricted zones it did not work with the dji Fly App. I need this as I live in a fully restricted zone (close to the Vienna Airport) but there is a huge indoor flight hall. As long as I dont get GPS signal I can fly indoors but once GPS is received the drone starts to automatically land In the DJI Go 4 app, “enter device” and tap the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, and from the drop down menu, select the far bottom left option of 3 dots (General Settings Menu). Next, scroll down and tap “about”. Within this menu, the “flight controller serial number” will be displayed.
Getting a zone unlocked in advance is a good plan, but doesn't always work. I was working on a project not far from a small local airport and knew well in advance that I'd need to be unlocked. I got an ATC waiver because the project would last over several days and applied to DJI for a custom unlock of 500meters.

The self-unlock feature has been behaving erratically and not working as intended. Yesterday it almost cost me a job, which was time sensitive as there was a brief break in the weather that allowed for flight. I fly with the P4P V2 and Crystal Sky. The self-unlock feature has never worked for me on Crystal Sky, and you cannot see any unlocking licenses as the term "unlocking licenses" does not

Since you are using a DJI aircraft you have to deal with its intricacies. As a recreational pilot you are bound to following 49 USC 44809.
