Kinect games on Xbox series X. Is there any plans to make kinect games backward compatible since the kinect (and adapter) do not work on Xbox series X? I would really like to play my Dance Central games but I'm told my only option is to buy either the Xbox 360 or Xbox one. This thread is locked.
mine kinect still works with my Virgin TV using the one guide. ( love it as hate the Virgin TV guide for it being so slow where xbox oneguide is so snappy) still controls everything fine. still able to select channels, turn tv on and off with xbox and control volume like you were able to when it came out.

Longer: Before buying Xbox One, I thought Kinect was a stupid gimmick and had no intention of really "using" it. I thought the same of the X360 Kinect and never owned one. After using Kinect sine November now, like others have said, I just simply couldn't imagine using the X1 without a Kinect now.
1. 5. Matthewnh. Mon 27th Nov 2023. Kinect was a clever piece of hardware. I did not have any actual “Kinect” games, and did not really have a lot of room, and with motion control you the need space to move around. But being able to control the Xbox One with my voice, that was cool. I enjoyed that.
This cannot work on an Xbox One S All-digital Edition or Xbox Series S, of course, as they do not feature disc drives. Even if you have an Xbox One Kinect still, it is not compatible with
